People often ask me why I decided to become a wedding celebrant and I always reply Love is Love and “It is love that makes the impossible possible”.
But also I am excited about the idea of the “wedding day” – people coming together who all have a reason to be in that one place, at that one time in history, who have played either a big or small part in the lives of these two people on that day.
I have always related to this quote from Confucius …. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” and I love this role.
“Jill is a fantastic celebrant who is obviously extremely passionate about what she does”
I believe the most important responsibility as a celebrant is to assist and help to create a ceremony that is unique and sincere and will reflect the personalities, tastes and wishes of the wedding couple and their families. But also what makes an occasion unique is being able to share it with those who matter to you the most and being able to deliver this in a unique and special way.
“She is amazing at adapting ceremonies to what you want on your big day. So if you are looking for a celebrant we would have no hesitation in recommending Jill. You won't regret it!”
“Prior to our wedding day my grandmother was not convinced our ceremony was going to be proper as it was not done in the house of God, for religious reasons obviously. Her comments after the wedding, "that was the best wedding I have ever been to, who was the celebrant lady? I feel like you are properly married and she made it so lovely". That coming from my grandmother means you really did pull it off. “
I believe nothing is more exciting than meeting new people, hearing their stories, and being inspired.
“We would recommend Jill as the best celebrant if you want your big day to be one that brings out the deepest love between Bride and Groom and will be felt by all family and friends, - our family loved Jill”
For many years I was extremely privileged to have a career in the travel/tourism and hospitality industries. The one thing that travel has taught me is the importance of what you have already in your life - friends, family and community. Being able to communicate with people from all different walks of life is very important and with many years within the service industries I have been able to draw on the experience as a wedding celebrant.
“Our guests commented how well they thought Jill delivered the ceremony with her great speaking voice and sparkling personality.”
“Being from out of town and having not previously met you, one is always a little doubtful as to how things will turn out. However I was pleasantly surprised as to how easy and enjoyable you managed to make the entire process.”
I hope you enjoy my story and I look forward to the possibility of working with you both to create one of the best day of your lives.
Where your wedding becomes a story, one told for years to come!
